About Me
I am Shen-Ning Tung, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at National Tsing Hua University. My research sits at the intersection of digital finance, mathematical modeling, and AI — combining rigorous mathematical tools with modern machine learning to understand and improve how digital financial markets are designed and operated.
My current work focuses on two areas: designing better Automated Market Makers (AMMs) for decentralized exchanges, and building learning systems for prediction markets and high-frequency dynamics. Both draw on stochastic control, game theory, and self-supervised deep learning. My earlier work was in number theory, but I am no longer active in that area.
I supervise graduate and undergraduate students on projects across quantitative finance, DeFi, and applied AI. See my research and student supervision pages for more details, or feel free to get in touch directly.
